< the dancing Michael Mcintyre represents his Life and Laughing book.. i just love to watch him groove :D
1. Harry Potter - who out of my generation DOESN’T love Harry Potter??? :) I was five when the first book came out, 9 when the first film came out, 15 when the last book was published and now 19 - crying all the way through the last film. I will surely miss it now its all over.
‘Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home’ - JK Rowling <3
2. The Time Traveler’s Wife - everyone in my family has read this book, I have had to buy ANOTHER copy as the first fell apart. I love it. So romantic and unique. Hard to get into at first but will bring you to tears as the read the last chapter.
3. Guess how much I love you - this is mine and my mum’s book. I adore it with all my heart. The pictures are beautiful and we contantly quote the book in a slushy way because we are awesome :) I will read this to my children.
4. Pride and Prejudice - FAVOURITE STORY OF ALL TIME!!! maybe… probably. :) Jane austen has taken up a large space on my bookshelf AND my dvd collection :)
5. The Phantom of the Opera - I first encounted this story when I was about 3 years old. My brother put on the cd and the prologue/overture terrified me so much I used to cry hysterically until he turned it off. I was made to watch the film when i was 13/14 and fell in love with the character of the phantom. I saw the musical in London in 2006 and read the book last year. Saw love never dies in 2010 after reading ‘the phantom of manhattan’ I adore Erik. <3
6. Winnie - Still have my beautiful hard back Winnie the pooh book containing all the original stories. Tigger is my favourite :) Will watch all the movies too :)
7. The Notebook - Nicolas Sparks’ best book, and it was the first in a long line of his that I have read. It was the only one that made me cry. It is so beautiful and heart renching.
8. Beatrix Potter - The only reason I enjoy going to the lake district. It really is beautiful there and she captured it perfectly. I have all her books and have visited her house and even stayed in a cottage which she owned :) I love her.
9. How I live now by Meg Rosoff - this book made me love reading. Its quirky the way its written - no puncuation, well speech marks :) Some people might not like it. Its different, as are all of her books. I love this book its beautiful.
10. Michael Mcintyre Life and Laughing - the best autiobiography I have read. You can hear his voice and see him skipping across the stage in your mind as you read about his life. Its hilarious and even made me cry in certain chapters, with joy and sometimes saddness. If he wasn’t married I would so have him :) hehe
